Coronavirus Update

To our Patients, Parents, and Families:

The well-being, health and safety of our patients and the staff are top priority. The office is closely monitoring the current situation with the coronavirus (COVID-19).  With the guidance of the California Association of Orthodontists, the California Dental Association and the California Public Health Department, our office will start seeing patients for deferred and preventative orthodontic care starting on May 18, 2020.  We are implementing the following changes:

  1. All patients must brush and floss their teeth prior to arriving at your appointment.  The tooth brushing area will have limited access.

  2. Only patients will be allowed in the office with the exception of younger patients and children that need the moral support of their parents.

  3. Upon arrival please stay in your car and text our office at 661-220-7541.  We will check the patient in and text you back when they can come into the office.  Please do not come into the office until you have received confirmation to come in.

  4. All patients/parents will have their temperature taken and asked a series of brief questions.

  5. The patient will then be instructed to rinse their mouth with a hydrogen peroxide mouth risnse before being seen.

  6. Our staff will contact you to make the next appointment.

  7. All patients/parents must wear a mask in the office.

We will allow extra time for all appointments, so that we can implement the changes without disruption.  Please be on time to your appointment.  Late comers may have to be rescheduled.  We will make every effort to stay on schedule.  In addition to current infection control and sterilization protocols, we will implement additional sanitizing in the office.

As we start preparing the schedule for the reopening, many of you will be contacted to schedule or rearrange appointments.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing all of you again.
